Orlando and Cleveland faced off four times in the regular season, with a 2-2 record between both teams. The Magic prevailed 116-109 in their most recent presentation against the Cavaliers on February 22, 2024.
Cleveland (48-34), on the other hand, finished the regular season in fourth place in the East, with a record of 26-15 playing at home. The Cavaliers have a balance of 31-21 in games against teams from their conference and are participating in the playoffs for the second consecutive season, having lost in the first round to the New York Knicks last season.
Orlando (47-35) wants to start the playoffs with a win as visitors, a condition in which they compiled a record of 18-23 in the regular season. The Magic finished in fifth place in the Eastern Conference and made it to the postseason matchups for the first time since the 2019/20 season when they lost to the Milwaukee Bucks with a 4-1 overall score. This is the third time they’ve reached this stage in the last ten years.
