Even N’Dicka has completed in-depth cardiological and respiratory tests after resting completely for a few days following a pneumothorax in the Udinese fixture. He has healed up completely and can reprise practicing, Il Messaggero informs.

The defender will be back at the Trigoria training center in short order, perhaps as soon as Wednesday. He skipped only a week of sessions. He shouldn’t need too much to get up to speed conditioning-wise. If he responds well, he could be available for Sunday’s clash with Napoli or more likely versus Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League a few days later.

N’Dicka experienced chest pain in the second half of the Udinese tilt on April 15th and was rushed to the hospital. The doctors quickly deemed his issue non-life threatening. The ensuing exams revealed he wasn’t suffering from a heart condition but rather a lung problem.

The match, which was one-one at the time, was abandoned. The Roma players didn’t feel like continuing to play given the early uncertainty about his status. The two sides will complete the tilt on Thursday, the first date available. The Giallorossi protested against the choice because of their busy schedule. The Friulani will have a new coach in their dugout.

N’Dicka has looked progressively comfortable throughout his first Serie A season. He has registered 27 appearances, recording 2 assists, despite the recent physical problem and missing more than a month during the winter as the Ivory Coast won the African Cup of Nations.
